I could hardly wait to get hold of this novel after its Kindle release for the first time. The first two novels I've read from Harrison, "The Thunder of Erebus" and "Storming Intrepid" were straight techno-thrillers, but the Eurostorm introduced an interesting new element for me: science fiction. I found the the sci-fi element enhancing the otherwise fast moving thriller story and somewhat reminded me a few of Brad Thor's novels. The cover photo of the kindle edition features a strong female counter-terrorist operative who figures heavily in the story line. I especially liked how her character was developed by Payne Harrison. If you like non-stop action thriller moving across all over the map, this is the book for you. It will wet your appetite for the next P. Harrison novel.

Dynamic and impressively crafted novel. I read this on a recommendation from a friend and I'll now be scurrying to pick up Harrison's previous works. Brilliantly developed with enough streamlined action. Reminds me of Vince Flynn and Brad Thor.
Payne Harrison is back and hasn't missed a beat. It's like running into an old friend after ages apart. And it was worth the wait. EUROSTORM is impossible to put down--a thriller on steroids. Let's hope it won't be another 13 years before he strikes again with his trademark cast of unique characters, impeccable research, globe-trotting locations, slingshot pacing, and heart-stopping scenarios. EUROSTORM is not to be missed. -- Joe Moore, international bestselling co-author of THE 731 LEGACY.
Where has this guy been hiding for so long? Eurostorm kept me on the edge of my seat from the first page to the very last. The story is credible enough, providing you don't get too hung up on the possibility of frozen Nazis, or British manufactured biological weapons that satisfy their users' ethnic biases, and frankly, even if you find that a little far-fetched, the plot is so good that you really won't mind. Mr Harrison's research is absolutely outstanding and he manages to weave little known truths, including some specifics of Swiss complicity during WW2, into the story in such a way that it not only educates the reader, but succeeds in making the fiction so much more believable. I'm not at all sorry that the author has chosen to set the ending up to accommodate a sequel and I can't wait for it's arrival. Highly recommended!
I'm glad to see Payne Harrison back writing novels. Eurostorm builds in momentum and is hard to put down. Fans of thrillers and action movies will enjoy this novel and want to check out Harrison's back catalog as well. I'm looking forward to the next book.
This book has it all! Really, the word that best describes this book is WOW! So, sit back, and get ready for a ride you will never forget. Payne Harrison knocks it out of the park every time!

A solid effort by Payne Harrison. No lack of perverse imagination and a group of characters worth pulling for. Well donr!!
